How’s your macular pigment density looking?

Macular pigment fulfils an important function in our eye. Put simply, you can imagine it like “inner sunglasses” which absorb high-energy blue light. We’re exposed to blue light in daylight, but it is also emitted by computer screens and LED lights. Besides blue light, however, there are other factors which can have a negative effect on your eye health, such as dry air, UV rays, or cigarette smoke.

Using the latest technology, we can measure the pigment density of your macula and in doing so determine how well it can absorb blue light. We would be happy to advise you on what you can do for your eye health.
